1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Próxima Estação mobile application (the "App") or accessing the website at proximaestacao.app (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App or the Site.
2. Description of Service
Próxima Estação is a free iOS application that provides route planning, interactive maps, and transit information for the São Paulo metropolitan rail network, including Metrô, CPTM, and Monorail lines. The Site serves as the official landing page for the App.
3. No Affiliation
Próxima Estação is an independent product by TerraNova. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Metrô SP, CPTM, or any government transit authority. All trademarks, line names, and logos belonging to those entities remain their respective property.
4. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date transit information, we do not guarantee that route suggestions, schedules, line statuses, or station details are always correct or current. Transit conditions may change without notice. Always verify critical travel plans with official sources.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App and Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Site.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, and branding associated with Próxima Estação and the Site are the intellectual property of TerraNova and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
7. Privacy
Próxima Estação does not require account creation for basic use. However, the App offers optional sign-in, which collects your email address and name, to enable the collaborative report feature and to help prevent bots and spam. The App may also request access to your location to identify the nearest stations. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy. The App may use anonymous analytics to improve performance and user experience. The Site uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated usage data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TerraNova shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or Site, including but not limited to missed connections, travel delays, or reliance on inaccurate information provided by the service.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the App and Site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App or Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
